Gleitbau Russland is a subsidiary of Gleitbau Salzburg GmbH, a sliding formwork manufacturer and one of the leaders of international slipform market for already 50 years. We have been working on the Russian market for 20 years, performing projects of various degrees of complexity. All equipment is manufactured in Austria on the basis of our own workshop. Moreover there is a warehouse on the territory of Moscow region (Russia) where we store complete formwork ready for rent.

The main advantage of slipform (compared to the standard travelling formwork) consists in in its continuous systematic non-stop movement 24 hours per day, carried out with the help of hydraulic jacks. The formwork set is assembled immediately along the entire perimeter of the cross-section and rises to the very top of the structure without stopping or forming cold seams.


While the continuous lifting is being carried out, the concrete is successively poured into steel or wood forming boards. To maintain the specified mobility, the duration of concrete pouring into the formwork structure is limited up to 20-30 minutes. Firstly, 2-3 layers of concrete mix shall be poured into the fixed formwork (i.e. half of its height). Each subsequent layer shall be poured into the formwork, preventing setting of the previous one. Depending on the temperature and humidity conditions and the intensity of concrete hardening the modes of movement of the slipform and the concrete mix pouring speed are chosen.

Construction, reinforcement and subsequent treatment of concrete surface is performed simultaneously. During the process of concrete hardening, the hydraulic slipform creates a seamless structure of the constructed object thanks to continuous pouring of concrete from the bottom of the structure to its top. The speed of movement varies from 2 to 10 m/day, depending on the complexity of the section. The verticality of the structure is controlled by lasers located on the ground. The cross-section thickness of vertical structures produced by the slipform method can vary according to the height of the building.


There are two types of formwork: conical and cylindrical (depending on the cross-section of the structure). Our slipform technology is suitable for many types of monolithic reinforced concrete structures for industrial and civil purposes, such as:

Structural repairs

Silos reparation can be performed using external pre-tension of VBT systems or by installing additional monolithic jacket on the top of existing walls. Two methods can be used to create a monolithic jacket on the top of existing silo walls: walls formation from inside or from outside. Additional armoring of reinforced concrete walls can significantly extend the service life of the silo and reduce costs at least at 50% in comparison with the method of complete dismantling of the silo and building it up again. Capital and current reparation of the silos, its reconstruction or strengthening is a complex process that allows you to restore the destroyed load-bearing structures and extend the silos life-cycle.

The slipform method of construction consisting of steel formwork and hydraulic cylinder system is most probably the only technology for formation of vertical concrete structures of different geometries, often variable geometries, having opportunity of working at heights.


High-rise structures construction by means of slipform method is a complex process that includes structures reinforcement, construction of jacking rods, installation of embedded parts, montage of technological openings and special niches, taking care of concrete state as well as other measures.

Such reparation makes it possible to simplify the system by using suspended guides on which the slipform shall move. This solution is not fastidious to the materials type and allows to refuse, for example, jacking pipes and elements forming openings. The sliding speed is not very different from the standard one: 2-8 m/day, but it is much easier to work during reparation process, because the existing silo walls are acting as a natural level and do not allow us to make mistakes.

Extra heavy lifting

With the help of oil-hydraulic cable winches, multiton construction products are raised or lowered to the required level. These single lifts can be easily assembled in groups. Thus, they are suitable for both medium-and super-heavy products.
